Next is an angel suspended from the ceiling and she floats around.
These are "skeletons-in-waiting"! The woman was setting up her altar and had these skeletons sitting on a bench waiting to be placed on the altar!
Folks admiring the altars. These 3 little girls were looking, mesmerized, at the altar, but just as I snapped the picture, they moved away.
The altars, set up on the portico of the City Hall are admired by Vallartans and tourists alike. There is a person there who can explain to the tourists what this is all about---very helpful to those who want to learn about the holiday.
