Hi Sheila,

I have enjoyed your stories and pictures. You are a fantastic photographer and your descriptions of the food make me want to be there NOW! The birthday party was amazing. Can't wait to learn more. Enjoy every minute, though we do miss you. Keep writing when you can!

Bob was very gracious to invite us to a Gwinett Braves Game. We had a great time and I had my first Chicago Hot Dog. It was full of firey goodness. I enjoyed every bite.

We invited Bob to go to see "Salt" with us this afternoon. He was busy--granddaughter celebrating last day at home before college. A good reason to be busy.

I will try to do better staying in touch. I have started back with my babysitting duties. Ying-yang.

Much love to you,
Faye

Hello Sheila,

First of all, I have to say that I loved reading about your visit to Aguascalientes...loved the pictures too. I came into your blog through google as I was looking up a picture of the Plaza Patria in Aguascalientes. I was born and raised in this wonderful city up to the age of 14, then my parents decided to go back to the US again so I've lived there ever since. Well, actually I'm studying abroad right now in Spain, in Sevilla, and I have to say I'm not a surprise how similar these 2 cities are. My dad also lived in Guadalajara as a child and both of my parents are from Zacatecas. Too long of a storty, but I just wanted to say that I'm glad you are enjoying un pedacito de Mexico =)
